The Covenant Series

Bible stories about God’s promises for children aged 4 to 10

Help children understand the promises at the heart of the Bible

Bible stories become more meaningful when children can see how they connect. The Covenant Series takes young readers through six important stories, showing how God’s love, faithfulness and promises unfold from the Garden of Eden to Jesus.

Each book uses child-friendly storytelling, colourful illustrations, a memorable song and simple activities to help children understand the story, remember its lesson and talk about what it means in their own lives.

Noah and the Rainbow Promise received First Prize in the Children’s category at the Penmanship Awards 2026 – recognition of a series created to make faith engaging, accessible and lasting for young readers.

  • Connected learning: children see how individual Bible stories form part of a larger story of God’s relationship with humanity.
  • Child-friendly storytelling: important ideas are expressed in language young readers can understand.
  • Vibrant illustrations: visual storytelling holds attention and supports comprehension.
  • Songs and reflection: memorable songs and simple questions help children recall the central message.
  • Faith in daily life: each story encourages trust, obedience, courage, love and hope beyond the final page.

Children often hear Bible stories one at a time. I wanted to help them see the thread that connects those stories: God’s faithful love and His promises to humanity. The Covenant Series was created to make that thread visible through language, pictures, songs and reflection that children can enjoy.

These books are not intended only for quiet reading. They invite conversation between children and the adults who guide them, making faith something that can be explored together at home, in school and in church.

  • Children aged 4 to 10: whether they are meeting these Bible stories for the first time or growing deeper in faith
  • Parents and guardians: who want meaningful faith-based reading and conversation at home
  • Sunday school and Christian educators: who need engaging stories for lessons, discussion and reflection
  • Churches and faith-based groups: seeking attractive resources for children’s ministry, outreach or gifts
  • Schools and libraries: building collections that support faith, values and character education

Dr Anuradha Khoda writes as an educator, storyteller and lifelong learner with a deep commitment to helping children grow in identity, values and purpose. The Covenant Series combines that educational care with a sincere desire to help young hearts encounter God’s Word in a way they can understand and remember.

Begin a faith journey that children can return to again and again – from the first promise to the enduring love of Jesus.
